Digital Training

Using technology to explain important procedures.

We have wide experience of providing training packages on a variety of workplace subjects. The packages authored in Adobe Flash can contain a mixture of 2 or 3D animated content and digital video clips. By stripping away much of the confusing external shells we can then drill down into the areas needing clarity, the packages when complete can be delivered to the target audience by a variety of platforms.

Tests can be provided and results recorded into a database with web based front ends to administer and manage the data.

Complexity

Of course this will always depend upon the subject matter and its target audience, for e.g. a package highlighting the components of modern pneumatic tyre will naturally require complex detailed graphics and animation, but digital training does not always need to be complicated or require costly animation. This learning package was developed in the mid 90's, and at that time office computers more than often lacked the capability or processing power to playback audio and video (this can be an issue in many office or workplace environments today so the lesson is still valid), we created the modules using cartoon style images with simple animation to add interest and speech bubbles to explain and convey the lesson rather than audio. The result was a series of modules easily played over a company intranet or network

This type of content is ideal for a variety of business uses i.e. software training, health & safety, office administration, 'how to' manuals, assembly instructions, replacing printer cartridges or scanning documents in fact the list is endless, and the packages can be accessed from a network directory, company intranet or even on CD/DVD.
